A least it sounds like they are simple fractures. A couple words; some pain killers take down swelling so tissues can have good blood flow and heal, but conversely they also prevent osteoblast from doing their important bone knitting thing. Also there can be tremendous blood loss surrounding fractures and clotting. Are you on a blood thinner, aspirin, wearing compression sleeves? Ask lots of questions!
