Today is my youngest son's birthday!! I can't believe he is 25! WHAT??? Insanity.
25 years ago Michael arrived and he was a big boy! He was over 10 lbs and 22 inches long- which was plenty, I assure you. He came overnight, so his brothers weren't even aware that Grandpa Oswald had come to stay with them. I won't go into the gory details, but it was actually a very quick event, but then it took a few days for Mikey to be able to come home. THEN there were threats that he would have to go back into the hospital- thanks to that defective "A" blood type gene that some of us have *ahem, cough, Fred* that resulted in good old ABO incompatibility- in other words, Mike had to be under the lights for a few days. Fortunately, Grandma Kutz was able to come up and take care of the other two during that time. She was a trooper, my mother!
Anyway, I won't go on and on about all the little things that he did during his childhood, just a few pics here:

If I hadn't just written a Mother's Day post, I 'd probably be all crying and sappy, but this morning I just am happy to think about his life so far. And if I was crying and sappy, I am entitled to that. After all I am his mother!! I hope Mike has a great birthday, I am sure he will be over at some point today. Cake on the weekend sweetheart!
Mike is one of the many joys in my life....
aww, a happy birthday and a happy mother's day post. They grow up too fast, yet we don't realize just how fast until they are all grown up. You are blessed!
