Sidetracked and sunset

I have a fairly lengthy post partially written, with photos uploaded and everything!  I had planned to finish it off this morning and post it in a flurry of triumph (I have a rich inner life, trust me) and then I was side tracked with a coughing spasm at 3 am.

Holy cow, this attack raised me right up out of bed.  It was like I had an itch in my lung.  Blah.  Anyway, I was up for 20 min about then, trying to calm my cough and considering staying up, but I didn't.  I was just too tired.  And of course that got me to sleep sometime after 3:30 which put my wakeup time at 5:35!!!  Which is an hour later than normal, which is why the flurry has died down and I am putting up a lovely sunset picture instead.  And this is why I am going to look like the wrath of God this morning, as my eyes somewhat resemble that of a basset hound today.  Oy.

Such is the life of a mad-artteacher!  Fraught with peril from the effects of a virulent virus, and a very active imagination!  :)

As my friend the Jerry the Social Studies teacher and I would say (and will say today as everyday): ROCK ON BABY!!

Until next time, be a joy giver - even when the best laid plans go awry!

  1. You've been pushing the envelope pretty hard the last couple weeks! That rich inner life might be struggling to get out!
