Can I use some of these at our Church? These are gorgeous Deb.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. Lola looks stunning even from behind as she watches over your home. Thanks for sharing, Debi!
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I love the "Riders on the Storm" cloud pics and the one of Lola looking at your house. Your home looks so peaceful and idyllic! I also like the foxgloves shot. Did you know that 1. foxgloves are SUPER toxic (keep your horse away!) and 2. heart medicine is derived from it. Check it out! http://www.ansci.cornell.edu/plants/digitalis.html
ReplyDeleteAlso, Van Gogh's painting of Dr. Gachet http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/1e/Portrait_of_Dr._Gachet.jpg has foxglove sitting on the table! Dr. Gachet may have been using it to treat Vincent for mania (or maybe even epilepsy) http://www.psych.ucalgary.ca/pace/va-lab/avde-website/vangogh.html I love this sort of thing! Have a great day 6 of your birthday month, my WI bestie!
@ Chuck, wow! I'm flattered.
ReplyDelete@ Barbara- thank you!
@ Allyce- Thank you! It is pretty peaceful, the nearest house is maybe 1/4 mile away, and we can't see it! I did know that foxgloves are the origin of digitalis.. The horse is no where NEAR those flowers.
I did not know about the Van Gogh story! You are just a fountain of knowledge, dear!
